FAQs
Q: How do I get started?
We generally meet for three initial sessions, during which we’ll get to know each other and build a foundation of trust and understanding. Your input is key; therapy works best when you feel comfortable sharing whatever is on your mind. At the end of these sessions, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that fits your needs.
Q: How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy depends on your goals and concerns. Sometimes we focus on a specific problem, while other times we address deeper underlying issues. Typically, short-term therapy can run from 12–20 sessions, but the timeline can be adjusted based on what you want to work on. We’ll decide the plan together during the initial sessions.
Q: What does it cost?
A standard session lasts 45–50 minutes and costs $275. The first session is slightly longer and costs $300. I do not accept insurance, but I provide a SuperBill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Q: How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy is for anyone who wants to better understand themselves, solve personal problems, and feel more hopeful about their life. The process can be liberating, though sometimes uncomfortable—it’s normal to experience both. My role is to support you throughout, helping you explore your feelings and gain insight in a practical, individualized way.
Q: What is a typical relationship like with a therapist?
The therapeutic relationship is a unique one. It’s a space built on trust, confidentiality, and genuine care. Over time, many people find it to be one of the most honest and productive relationships in their lives. My role is not to give advice or tell you what to do, but to help you think more clearly, feel more understood, and move forward with greater confidence.
Q: How do I pay?
Payment is easy via credit card. You will have access to a secure patient portal, which also provides the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance if applicable.
